Before the Grammy show, the band had already played in London and were selling out crowds everywhere they went. To put it mildly, this team is currently on fire and shows no signs of slowing down.
We had the opportunity to catch the band Billy Strings (for us) in a new arena – the Santa Barbara Cup – with a small crowd (less than Billy these days) where we heard nothing but feedback. I didn’t want to miss it
And the stadium did not disappoint. Located just a few miles from downtown Santa Barbara, it has a bit of a Red Rock vibe (a place we know very well) but is in the middle of the neighborhood. We got a glass of wine at the entrance (we

Saturday’s show was amazing, Billy and the kids got all the feels – loud clicks, animal bluegrass, face melting and a great light show, all with the ocean in the background.
After epic music 2, the second set ended at 21:57 the band saluted. No bis but I don’t think anyone is complaining.

Sunday Night started with a good selection, including a few classics and metal. “We’re going to warm up our hands here,” Billy exclaims before heading west to Dakota Rose, and they do. Things got a little dirty with Road Hypnose in the end, and it took a big hole in the Grateful Dead’s catalog.
. But when the rest of the crowd left the stage, Billy Strings stayed with his banjo and asked the crowd if he’d mind voting for one!

After the band entered, Billy Strings explained that although he understood that the rules were the rules, he was very disappointed that he was not able to play as he wanted on this beautiful night. He later told the crowd that he hoped “we were all watching during that solo prank” because there were 55 minutes left and they weren’t going to waste a minute!
