Lincoln Speedway 2023 Schedule – In its 38th consecutive campaign, the Summer Nationals returns to its familiar five-week format spread over the month-long period from June to July 2023.
The Late Models will run 29 races over 33 days, while the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals are scheduled for 25 races in the same time frame – wrapping up the season with the final two races in the 33rd year of the event.

It’s a schedule adjustment not seen since 2019 – one series director Sam Driggers has made to accommodate both driver and fan interest as he prepares to celebrate 40 years of racing.

PRIZES, PAYOUTS, BONUSES The progressive points scale seen over the past two seasons reshapes the payout for those chasing the Late Model championship at the end of the season. Starting with a $25,000 minimum, each race completed after the 25th race will add an additional $2,000 to the champion’s check, creating a potential $33,000 payout to accompany the 2023 series crown. Up for grabs for the Top Modified champion is a championship check worth $5,000 based on each driver’s top 12 finishes in the points standings.

Friday and Saturday’s Late Model events will feature traditional $10,000 purses with $5,000 prize races throughout the week, while Summit Changes will compete for a $1,500 check most nights. One exception to this pattern occurs on Wednesday, July 12, when both rounds return to the 1/4-mile oval at Shadyhill Speedway in Indiana for the $10,000 Late Model and $3,000 in earnings. Win a special mid-week mod.
Cash bonuses will also be awarded at the end of each week for the top 10 late model points, as well as a tow bonus for drivers with perfect attendance for every 500 miles driven from track to track.
