In partnership with the Major League Hockey League, the Chicago Blackhawks announced today the team’s regular schedule for the 2022-23 season. The Blackhawks are scheduled to begin the season on Wednesday, October 12 as the team travels to Denver to play against the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Colorado Avalanche. Chicago will open the home stretch of its schedule on Friday, October 21 at the United Center against the Detroit Red Wings.

Blackhawks’ 2022 23 Schedule Released: Hawks Open At Defending Champion Avalanche
15 of the team’s 41 games will be at home this weekend, including six games on Friday, one on Saturday and eight on Sunday. The Blackhawks have two five-game homestands on the calendar during the 2021-22 campaign, their longest streak at the United Center this season. In addition, Chicago has two four-game road trips on the schedule, the longest away from home. The Blackhawks will begin their campaign to return to the playoffs after two years on the road against the Flyers on October 4. . in Prague, Czech Republic, to open the 2019-20 regular season.
After their first game of the season, the Blackhawks return to the United States to face the Sharks on October 10 in their first home game. Chicago is 5-2-1 in home openers over the decade, including a 1-2-1 record in their last four.
