2023 Mizzou Football Schedule – COLUMBIA, Mo. – Four games and three rescheduled games have been added to Mizzou Football’s upcoming schedule as a pair of home games with Army West Point and an additional home-and-home series with San Diego State have been announced, while the games against Louisiana (home ), Colorado (out) and BYU (out) have been moved since the original release date.

The SEC’s new 2023 football schedule has been removed. The Missouri Tigers will face familiar foes both inside and outside the conference. The SEC season will culminate in the SEC Championship Game, to be played on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.

The Tigers then return home to face the LSU Tigers on October 7. Then it’s back to the Kentucky Wildcats on October 14 and then back home to face the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday, October 21. The Tigers then get a much-needed break with a bye week as they prepare to take on the gauntlet — starting with Georgia, in Georgia.

The SEC released the schedule for all conference football games on Tuesday. The opponents were already known.
The Tigers begin a four-game non-conference streak, beginning with a three-game homestand against South Dakota on September 2, Middle Tennessee State on September 9, and Kansas State on September 16.
MU was scheduled to play in Memphis on September 23, but the status of that game was unclear as of Tuesday. According to multiple sources, school officials had discussed moving that game to St. Louis at American Central’s The Dome, but nothing was finalized on Tuesday, when the league announced its schedule.
Arkansas’ 2023 Football Schedule Released
SEC play kicks off September 30 with a trip to Nashville to play Vanderbilt. LSU will visit Columbia the following week on October 7. From there, Mizzou travels to Kentucky on October 14, followed by a home game against South Carolina on October 21. The South Carolina game will serve as Mizzou’s homecoming.
The Tigers have their farewells next weekend (Oct. 28) and then travel to Georgia on Nov. 4. The Tigers then have back-to-back home games against Tennessee (November 11) and Florida (November 18). As always, the Tigers close out the regular season against Arkansas, currently scheduled for November 25 in Fayetteville, but that game is traditionally pushed back one day to the Friday after Thanksgiving.

In fact, it can be quite the opposite. Players sometimes take a step back. Perhaps a season of film work is just what adversary coaches needed to crack that code. Injuries can take their toll. Perhaps a player’s off-season workouts do more harm than good. Maybe those players weren’t that good in the beginning.
You may have seen the headline recently. According to our good friend Bill Connelly, the Tigers are among the top 10 in the country in return production. What does that mean? Simply put, Missouri will return the vast majority of players who played for the Tigers in 2022. That production includes passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, offensive tackles, tackles, passes defensed, tackles for loss, and sacks. For Missouri, 77 percent of its offensive production (25th nationally) and 80 percent of its defensive production (9th nationally) will return by 2023.
By comparison, Missouri ranked 68th last year with a production of 65%
