2023 Florida Football Schedule
Florida opens its season with a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah, to face the Utes for the return leg of the home-to-home series. It was the Gators’ first trip to Utah and their first West Coast trip since traveling to Los Angeles in 1983 to play against the University of Southern California.
Big 12 Conference Football Schedule Released
The non-conference roster also includes home games with McNeese State and Charlotte, the first meetings between the schools. The Gators close the season with an annual rivalry game against Florida State in Gainesville.
UF opens conference play on Sept. 19 at home against Tennessee. In addition to the biennial trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to face Louisiana State, Florida will also host the Arkansas Razorbacks in an inter-sectional matchup. The Gators welcome the Razorbacks to the swamp for the fourth time and the first time the schools meet since 2020.
Florida faces three division rivals in a row heading into their Oct. 28 showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs. Before facing UGA in Jacksonville, the Gators play Kentucky, host Vanderbilt and travel to face South Carolina. UF’s bye week falls between its pairings with South Carolina and Georgia.

Florida will host McNeese on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, FL. According to a copy of the contract, the Gators will guarantee the Cowboys $500,000 to play the game.
Florida A&m 2023 Football Schedule
McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La. Member of the Southland Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Cowboys opened their spring 2021 slate with a 40-37 road win over the Tarleton State Texans in double overtime.
With the addition of McNeese, the Florida Gators have temporarily folded their non-conference football program for the 2023 season. Florida will open the season on Thursday, August 31 or Saturday, September 2 against the Utah Utes. Other non-conference opponents include the Charlotte 49ers (Sept. 23) and in-state rival Florida State Seminoles (Nov. 25), both at home in Gainesville.
In SEC action in 2023, Florida will host Arkansas, Georgia (at Jacksonville), Tennessee and Vanderbilt, and travel to Kentucky, LSU, Missouri and South Carolina.
Famu Announces Power Five, Group Of Five Future Football Opponents
McNeese now has three non-conference opponents scheduled for the 2023 season. The Cowboys’ other opponents that season were Tarleton State on September 2 and the Alcorn State Braves away on September 16.
